Literatures are flooded with the word Meditation but what the word Meditation actually is ? There are various myths and theories proposed towards Meditation, many feel it like being super natural, powerful, extra ordinary or such. But all these are nothing but the myth far away from the truth.

In simplest words Mediation is nothing but an approach to train our mind and cultivate awareness. Many of us are of opinion that Mediation is about emptiness of the Mind, but its not actually. Why to empty the mind ? It has taken several thousand of years to reach to the state where our mind can think, can vision. With this beautiful evolution why to try to empty the Mind. This is one of the greatest myth about the Mediation.

Like we do practice fitness routines regularly to keep our body fit and toned, Meditation is the practice to keep the Mind fit and fine, easy enough !

There are several techniques and methodologies of practicing Mediation. In Vedic scripture Vigyan Bhairav Tantra. Lord Shiva proposed several easy meditation techniques and the Breadth Mediation is among one of the simplest one.

Believe me its easy enough having numerous advantages including health benefits.

Lets Meditate :

  1. Find a clean and calm place
  2. Sit comfortably in a posture which you find relaxed. You can start with Sukhasan
  3. Close your eyes and feel the calmness.
  4. To start with, do some Pranayam
  5. Breadth easy, don't put extra effort on controlling breadth, simply breadth.
  6. Focus on inhalation and exhalation.
  7. With each inhalation and exhalation, try to feel the movement in the body.
  8. Keep Going
  9. Now try to focus at your navel and the point in between the eyes ( Agya Chakra )
  10. With every inhalation and exhalation, visualize this as a cycle between the navel and the Agya Chakra.
  11. Don't put any additional effort to control the breadth nor the thought.
  12. Only breadth easy and focus on the breadth.

Once you start practicing this simplest Mediation technique showed by Lord Shiva to Mata Parvati, you will find numerous changes in your life, both physically, mentally and spiritually.

At least try to practice Mediation a few minutes regularly and you will give a lot to your Mind.
